Prefabricated vs Modular

Prefabricated construction is not modular construction. They technically vary in that modular construction is complete construction off-site. Our Prefabricated construction is panelized construction and allows for much more diversity with respect to size and style of dwellings which can be constructed.

What is a Prefab Package?

A prefab package can be as involved or uninvolved as you would like it to be. Options typically chosen are:

Framing Package: all of the framing, interior and exterior walls are pre-constructed and panelized in our factory and shipped to site for assembly. The benefits of prefabricated construction includes quality control, shorter on-site construction timelines, product theft control.

Complete Prefab Package: all materials required (after excavation and basement concrete) to a lockup stage. This includes framing package as well as windows and doors, siding, exterior finishing, interior finishing (baseboard and trim) and roofing. A complete Prefab package takes you to the point of construction where the dwelling can be "locked" and does not include materials for utilities (ie plumbing, heating, electrical), or drywall.
